Useful features that will make creating presentations more effective and the results of our work more impressive.

We checked the definition of PowerPoint on Wikipedia. It turns out that the description is very outdated: “a program for creating multimedia presentations, part of the Microsoft office suite”. In Office 365, PowerPoint has been developed to such an extent that it can be used not only when creating presentations, but also for various types of office and home tasks. We will reach for its functionalities when creating a summary for the board, project statuses, company offers, and more. It is also great for preparing a lesson plan for a child, a book of recipes, or a photo album. PowerPoint is also a tool for creating professional infographics and animated posts for social media.Together with the lecturer of the course “PowerPoint: from the basics to the mastery”, Agata Mussur, who is the Marketing Manager at PZU, we have prepared four tricks. Thanks to them, you will be able to get to know the wide range of possibilities of the program and make a really good impression on the recipients. We talk about how to prepare for creating a presentation, how to present information in an attractive way and what to do to

make the slide show even more professional.

The first step in working on a PowerPoint presentation is planning. A good plan will save a lot of time: anyone who immediately wants to make slides will regret it sooner or later. It is worth starting with the structure conduit cn telephone number data that is, arranging what should be at the very beginning, then going through the elements of the presentation point by point, and then thinking about how to end it – preferably by adding conclusions at the end.

This way of spreading out the work will allow you to immediately see what kind of slide you will need, how best to show the schedule, and what to use to visualize the process. After defining what you want to convey and in what order, you can move on to ensuring that the content is conveyed in an interesting and engaging form. We will use four tricks for this.

#1 Slide Designer

Until recently, we had to create our own slide templates. Now, the slide designer will suggest what those slides should look like, providing a wide range of graphic possibilities. Simply scroll through the suggestions in the Design Ideas pane on the right side of the window, then click to select the appropriate design. The slide will automatically change. You can also choose a different theme from the list, or go back to the original slide design by pressing Ctrl+Z to undo the change you just made.

PowerPoint Designer can detect images, charts or tables on a slide and suggests their arrangement in a coherent and attractive layout. And when we decide that we are dealing with too much text, the designer will transform elements such as lists, processes or timelines into readable and legible graphics. We can also search for keywords to which illustrations in different layouts will match. These come from a library of icons or graphics covered by open access, so-called creative commons .

#2. Smart Search

This is a great convenience, because we do not have to open a separate Internet search engine when working in PowerPoint. If we have to enter a link to a company’s website in the offer, the intelligent search will find information about our organization. In this way, the offer will become more interactive and – even if we later save the presentation in PDF – the links will still work.

Start by right-clicking on a word or phrase in your outline and choosing Smart Lookup . This will show you definitions, web pages the ultimate guide on how to create an impactful visual identity for your brand and the most common related results for that term when you search the web.

We can insert 3D models into presentations, rotate them and show them from any side. PowerPoint also provides a database of these models, which is free for non-commercial use. We insert 3D models in the same way as other images.

In the menu, select Insert, then – 3D Models cpa email list then: From File or From Online Sources . You can rotate the 3D model in any direction – just click, hold and drag the mouse. #4. Morphing

We can make 3D models move using a feature called: Smooth Transitions . Morphing allows you to animate smooth movements from one slide to the next. We apply this feature to various elements: text, shapes, images, SmartArt graphics, and WordArt objects, but we can’t use it for charts.
